THE MARKET PROJECT GETS A SUMMER INTERN

TJ Jan of Seattle Pacific University joins Dorothy in Washington, DC.

The Market Project was excited to welcome our first college intern this summer. TJ Jan, a senior political science and economics student at Seattle Pacific University, was in DC as part of The Fund for American Studies DC Internships program. Dorothy was herself a TFAS alumni and enjoyed working with TJ on various projects throughout the summer. He was able to support the development of The Market Project by helping with the business plans being developed for the Uganda and Canada pilot programs as well authored a large portion of the website’s content. He thoroughly enjoyed his time living and interning in DC and was grateful to learn from such an experienced and selfless person as Dorothy.
