Internships

The Market Project is currently accepting applications for internships & fellowships.

The Market Project seeks candidates to assist with research on economic development, trauma-informed workplaces, or legal enabling environments for business.

Opportunities may vary depending on The Market Project’s current needs and the candidates’ experiences and skill set.

“I interned with The Market Project (TMP) during the summer of 2021 … I worked directly with the executive director and a board member, which allowed me to learn how nonprofits are run at the highest administrative and board levels. In addition to tasks focused on operating a non-profit, I also learned how to manage an international, community-focused business through TMP’s Nguvu Dairy project in Uganda … I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with TMP and working with the team. The entire TMP family took me under their wing and offered practical advice on maintaining mental and emotional resilience in the human rights field. Learning from their life experiences has equipped me to feel more prepared to handle the trials and complexities of international human rights work.” – Nia Kamau
