James Goes to Myanmar
James meets with potential care and workshop partners and identified possible livelihood workshop opportunities in Yangon, Myanmar.
On a follow-up trip to Yangon, James further honed in on what a TMP business could likely be and connected with those whom Dorothy had made initial contact. The most notable meeting James had was with the head of a private school of higher education. He was fascinated with The Market Project’s model and wanted to partner with The Market Project in the future. He commented that work programs like the one The Market Project intends to start are a critical area for their graduates. He knew that a program like ours is a great way to care for people in Myanmar who have been victims of trafficking.
